Renk opens rehabilitation centres for returnee children
Authorities have opened seven centres in Renk, Upper Nile province to prepare to house children of families returning from Sudan, following the separation last year.
Director of social welfare, Deng Ajak told Radio Tamazuj the ministry of social welfare has opened child-care centres for new returnees, to accomodate the children and reintegrate them into the community.
The centres are also hoped to reduce the levels of homelessness for returnees in the state.
Ajak added that the centres are will provide workshops at different levels of ability and encourage the children to continue to study.
